(1) EPOXY COATING

One of the most well-known and often used floor covering resins is epoxy. Epoxy resin is a thermo-set material that delivers the performance and durability of resin flooring and is the ideal resin flooring option for electrical conductive flooring. It is perhaps the most well-known and often used type of industrial resin flooring.

One primer coat and two or three top coats are typically used in epoxy coatings. A two component, solvent-free clear primer coating is called epoxy primer. Epoxy top coating is a two component, 100% solids coating that can be tinted if necessary to get the desired hue.

(2) EPOXY NOVOLAC COATING

MRPN-54 is a modified epoxy phenol novolac resin with a moderate viscosity, glass flakes, and a modified aliphatic amine hardener in addition to chemical-resistant filler.

Excellent chemical resistance is provided by the following systems when combined with superior mechanical qualities.

Both ambient and increased temperature cures can be performed with this technique. A well cured system will produce Tg at about 130 degrees Celsius.

The system will be resistant to acids, alkalis, alcohols, and hydrocarbon solvents when it is completely cured. For simpler applications, furfural alcohol can be used to further dilute the system.

(3) FURALAC HF COATING

For chemical-resistant brick and tile building and flooring work, MBT FURALAC HF is a specially formulated, carbon-filled furan mortar coating that also provides exceptional thermal resistance.

MBT FURALAC HF is well suited for protective lining work in phosphoric acid, hydrofluoric acid, digester, equipment, etc.

Where strong thermal resistance is required, MBT FURALAC HF is employed. It has excellent erosion resistance and hardens into a bedding and jointing substance that is used to place bricks and tiles in the building of tanks, floors, sewers, foundations, and other structures.

For food processing, food preparation, beverage, and pharmaceutical establishments that sterilise using caustic and acid-based solutions, it makes an ideal mortar.

(4) COAL TAR EPOXY

For particular situations, such as sewage water treatment plants, two component systems of coal tar-based epoxy paints are available.

Low solvent epoxy coatings are well known to have strong chemical resistance due to their non-porous nature.

A less expensive coating is frequently used for less demanding applications, where high temperatures and solvents are not present.

Provided, of course, that the end user accepts the black colour, coal tar epoxy coatings satisfy this demand.
