(1) Silicate mortar

Silicate Mortar is a two-part, chemically setting mortar of the silicate type.

In contrast to other resin type and sulphur type mortar, it is advised against chronically acidic conditions and can sustain significantly higher temperatures.

Due to its extremely low cost, silicate mortar is typically used with acid-resistant bricks and tiles for acid-resistant masonry construction.

Protecting chimneys, incinerators, and other high temperature machinery is strongly advised. Excellent resistance to nitric acid and 98% sulfuric acid.

Essentially, there are two varieties based on sodium silicate or potassium silicate.

(2) CNSL mortar

To protect the most frequently used construction materials, such as RCC, MS, steel, brick masonry construction, etc., from corrosive environments in the present chemical age, this mortar is a two-part chemical setting Cashew Nut Shell Liquid (CNSL) resin based mortar for acid resisting brick lining.

Acids, alkalis, solvents, etc. won't harm CNSL when the temperature is up to 170 Deg.C.

(3) Phenol resin based mortar

For setting acid-resistant brick and tile, phenolic resin based mortar, a two component modified phenolic resin cement, is utilised.

This product's benefit is that it is reasonably affordable and resistant to both acidic and alkaline environments.

When it comes to resin cements that can withstand high temperatures, phenolic resin cement is the finest option.

It finds extensive usage in the chemical, fertiliser, and dye industries.

(4) Furane resin based mortar

For bonding acid-resistant bricks and tiles, furan mortar is a two-part chemical setting furan base mortar. Its texture makes it impenetrable, and a very broad variety of chemicals, including potent acids, alkalis, oils, and solvents, cannot harm it. It is also unaffected by temperatures up to 170 Deg.C.

These cements are most frequently employed in reactor/equipment lining, acid-resistant masonry, and other applications.

It is increasingly being used and specified for AR lining applications due to its safer use and better shelf life compared to phenolic resin cements.

Contains Carbon For applications requiring resistance to hydrofluoric acid, fluoride salts, and potent hot alkalis, furan mortar is a 100% carbon-filled mortar that is available.

(5) Epoxy rasin based mortar

Epoxy Mortar is a mortar with an epoxy resin basis that is chemically set in three sections.

It has great adherence to concrete, MS surfaces, acid-resistant bricks and tiles, etc. The chemical resistance of epoxy mortar is very high.

It can be used for flooring, drains, reaction & storage containers, sumps, effluent treatment facilities for food and pharmaceuticals, breweries, dairies, water treatment plants, etc. due to its extremely low absorption and extremely high chemical & physical qualities.

This is a polymer-based bonding paste used in the construction sector for installing agglomerates. Depending on the desired qualities after curing, the paste is a mixture of substances including epoxy resins, solvent, binder, mineral fillers, and some additives.

It serves as a paste and glue for repairing structures.
